These images come from a very pleasant outing on a beautiful day. As is our custom, circumstances permitting, Mrs. Pix clad herself for our hike in nothing but her hiking shoes and sunhat, striking out from the trailhead completely nude and remaining so for the duration, until packing out several hours later.

This set catches Mrs. Pix crossing a creek. In another year, not in drought, this would be a more a flowing river with the crossing requiring stripping off even her shoes. This time, however, the water was running slow and low, allowing a dry crossing over stepping stones.

These are stills, not vidcaps, but the tight sequence gives you a little of the feel of what it is like to share the trail as I know many of you would like to do.
