This photo set harkens back to the very beginnings of Mrs. Pix as my (nude) photographic muse. All these photos were originally taken using a consumer-level 35mm “point and shoot” camera. What you see here is the result of my effort to digitize ancient prints. Most of the “vintage” look you see here is not the result of any attempt at retro artistry, but the fact that the originals are genuinely primitive and old.
The first few images were taken as Mrs. Pix padded around nude in one of our early, very spare apartments. The season happened to be winter, as can be seen in the photo directed out a window, where a tree shrouded in snow can be vaguely discerned. I note that just because of my appreciation that Mrs. Pix indulged me in her skin despite the chill of the season.
The later images in the set are from the same general period, but on one of our first “nature hikes”; at least one of the first with a camera on hand. The weather was inclement, but Mrs. Pix indulged me in hiking nude despite conditions, and even shed her shoes for these shots, to satisfy the “purist” in me.
Enjoy …
